Our bed and breakfast hotel, Auberge Le Grillon, is situated in the small picturesque chateau village of Sully in the heart of the famous region of Burgundy in France. The village lies in a wine making and agricultural area surrounded by the hills of the Bourgogne. It is a place where you will find peace and quiet whilst discovering the riches of its natural countryside.

 

The hotel is housed in a distinctive building constructed in 1860 and consists of 5 charming and tasteful bedrooms each equipped with a comfortable bed and an en suite bathroom. The surrounding garden has many places to sit either in the sun or in the shade.

 

We have owned the hotel since 2006 and we enjoy welcoming our guests in a personal way ensuring that we can help you to arrange and organise your holiday to fit your own taste.

 

Situated just 300 kms southeast of Paris and 70 kms southwest of Dijon in the unspoiled countryside of Burgundy there are many interesting castles, churches and historic towns like Autun, Beaune, Dijon with their museums as well as the vineyards of the famous Cote d'Or. There are also many walking and cycling routes starting from the Auberge and also in the Morvan, the well known natural park. In the area of sport, activities such as golf, tennis, horse riding, swimming, archery and climbing can be found. We have routes and brochures availible!

 

Returning from your outing at the end of the afternoon let us spoil you with a three course meal freshly prepared using local Burgundian products. You can of course select the perfect Burgundy wine to accompany your meal from our wine list.

 

Bringing your dog with you? Not a problem for us and most welcome.
